加拿大会会长一行参访龙泉寺|Canadian Delegation Visits Beijing LQ Monastery

近日，加拿大会会长、多伦多湛山精舍开山住持性空长老、住持达义法师一行参访北京龙泉寺，并与中国协会会长学诚法师一起拈香诵经祈福。在欢迎仪式上，学诚法师对性空长老、达义法师一行回国参访表示热烈欢迎并诚挚问候，赞叹性空长老数十年来在北美洲地区致力于弘扬汉传的发心和功德，感谢达义法师近年来致力促进加中交流。达义法师表示，此次回国参访四大名山将迎请香火到加拿大供奉，推动汉传在北美地区的传播。

Elder Xingkong, first Abbot of the Toronto Cham Shan Temple and President of the Buddhist Association of Canada, visited Beijing Longquan Monastery recently, along with the current Abbot of the temple Master Dayi. They joined Master Xuecheng, President of the Buddhist Association of China to burn incense, chant sutras, and pray for blessings. During the welcoming ceremony, Master Xuecheng expressed his warm and sincere greetings to both Elder Xingkong and Master Dayi for their return to China; he highly appreciated Elder Xingkong’s years of dedication to the promotion of Han Chinese Buddhism in North America and Master Dayi for his efforts on exchanges between the Buddhist communities of China and Canada. Master Dayi mentioned that they would visit the four famous Buddhist mountains in China and invite some monks to live in Canada so as to promote Han Chinese Buddhism in North America.
